Welcome to Inked Zen Tattoo Studio (“Inked Zen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment, purchasing services, or accessing our website at inkedzen.com, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Age Requirements & Verification

Legal Age: In accordance with California law (California Penal Code § 653), you must be at least 18 years of age to receive a tattoo. No exceptions or parental consent are permitted for minors.
Identification: You must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport) prior to your session.

2. Appointments & Deposits

Non-Refundable Deposits: A deposit is required to reserve all tattoo appointments and custom design prep time. All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Rescheduling: We require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule your appointment. If notice is provided within this window, your deposit will transfer to your rescheduled date. Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
Tardiness & No-Shows: Arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice may result in a cancelled appointment and forfeiture of your deposit.

3. Health, Safety & Right of Refusal

Health Disclosures: You agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, skin conditions, blood-borne pathogens, or pregnancies that may affect your session or healing process.
Sobriety: We strictly prohibit clients under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances.
Right of Refusal: Inked Zen reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason, including aggressive behavior or safety concerns.

4. Custom Artwork & Intellectual Property

All custom sketches, tattoo stencil designs, text, graphics, and photographs on our website and social channels remain the exclusive intellectual property of Inked Zen and our individual artists. Custom designs created for your session may not be reproduced without explicit permission.

5. Touch-Up Policy

Complimentary touch-ups are offered within 60 days of your original session, provided you followed all provided aftercare instructions.
High-wear areas (such as hands, fingers, feet, and elbows) or touch-ups required due to poor aftercare are subject to standard shop rates.

6. Media Consent

During studio sessions, photographs or videos of finished tattoos or the session experience may be taken for promotional use. If you prefer not to be photographed or tagged, please inform your artist prior to your session.

7. Limitation of Liability

Inked Zen is not liable for complications, infections, fading, or allergic reactions resulting from failure to adhere to our provided aftercare guidelines.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and local regulations of Los Angeles County / Beverly Hills.
